Moon high on BC

A commitment from running back T.J. Moon of Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson could be just around the corner. In fact, if all goes well during his trip to Boston College on Thursday, he might even pull the trigger this week.
"It's definitely possible something could go down," Moon said.

The 5-foot-9, 216-pound Moon currently has offers from Boston College, Illinois and Memphis. Vanderbilt also is recruiting him.
Right now, the Eagles, who visited Moon in Stone Mountain this spring, are the team to beat.
"I'm going up there to talk to the coaches," Moon said. "I'm going up Thursday; I'm flying up there with my father. They offered about a month ago. This will be my first time visiting there. I want to go up there and sit and talk with the running backs coach, offensive coordinator and head coach. I also want to meet with some of the players and talk with their admissions people. They really wanted me to come up there, and they said they'd love to have me."
In 2010, Moon rushed for 1,100-plus yards and 11 touchdowns at Union Grove (Ga.). He transferred to Stephenson during the offseason.
At his new school, Moon will share time in the backfield with Florida commit Mike Davis, a Rivals250 member.
