Three-star athlete Mykal Moody of Conway, S.C. stills claims three offers. However, the 5-foot-11, 180-pounder is on the verge of landing a fourth offer and has many other schools hot on his trail.
"Everything is going pretty good," he said. "I have offers from Ole Miss, Kentucky and NC State."
A fourth offer may soon be on the way from the ACC, while a number of other schools have shown increased interest.
"Clemson has said they have verbally offered, but they are waiting on my scores to come in," said Moody. "South Carolina is pretty hot on me along with Georgia Tech, Oregon, Alabama, Auburn, Marshall and a lot more."
With Clemson being very close to going through with a scholarship offer, Moody is intrigued.
"I'm pretty sure my scores will come in and I'll get that offer," he said. "I like Clemson a lot to tell you the truth, a lot more than a lot of other schools. I know they have a very good academic program. That's big."
Clemson is one of two schools Moody is very high on.
"I like the way Oregon plays, the speed and I fit in with the offense."
Moody plans to head to Clemson, NC State and South Carolina for camps this summer, despite suffering a collarbone injury a couple weeks back.
