Monroe says one school stands out

West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West offensive lineman Cory Monroe is receiving mail from a number of colleges, but says he is particularly interested in the schools in one conference.
"I get mail from Cincinnati, Toledo, Iowa State, Marshall, a couple letters from Syracuse about their camp, schools like that," Monroe said. "I like the MAC schools."

Monroe especially likes the MAC schools near his southwest Ohio home.
"I like Marshall, Ohio University, Miami of Ohio, places close to home," he said.
Monroe attended a skills camp at Toledo, but it's another MAC school that sits at the top of his list.
"Marshall's my favorite," Monroe said. "My dad went there. He was on the basketball team. I like that area."
The 6-foot-5 and 286-pound Monroe moved into the starting lineup at the beginning of his junior season and played a big part in his team winning six of 10 games. Monroe, and offensive tackle, is a fine run blocker.
