Momah close to a decision

Elwood (N.Y.) John Glenn tight end Ifeanyi Momah took his second official visit over the weekend to Connecticut. Currently the Huskies are the only school to have officially offered the 6-foot-6, 220-pounder. Is he any closer to a decision?
"The visit went really well," he said. "They showed me the facilities, campus and all of that was really nice. They have a lot of new facilities which caught me off guard. I didn't know it would be that nice there. I can tell you it was beyond my expectations."

On the visit, Momah enjoyed the entire experience.
"I got there Friday night since I had a basketball game," he said. "Basically the trip started Saturday morning and that's when I met all the coaches, toured the facilities, saw the indoor field, weight room and met with the trainer. After all that, I went to the basketball game against Indiana and then checked out the football stadium.
"The basketball game was really nice. We got courtside seats and the fans were crazy. They were a lot of people there and they were loud."
The Long Island prospect was hosted by fellow New Yorker Mike Cox.
"It was cool being with him," he said. "We're both from Long Island. He introduced me to the other players and talked about how nice the coaches were. He told me if I commit there, they won't be two-faced. They always show you that they care."
As far as the coaches, Momah talked to Randy Edsall and Dave McMichael the most.
"I was able to talk to everybody," he said. "Coach McMichael is my recruiter and he told me how the program is coming up and how I can be an addition to that.
"Then I talked to coach Edsall, who talked about my offer. He basically told me if I don't commit soon there's a chance my scholarship might not be there. We came to an agreement that I'll get back to him on Wednesday whether or not I'll commit."
Is Momah leaning towards the Huskies?
"I like them a lot, but I'm not sure I want to commit. It's a tough decision," he said. "I'd rate the trip a nine since I enjoyed it a lot, but I don't want to rush into it. I've still got visits to Rutgers and Boston College in the next couple weeks and I kind of want to take those trips."
If Momah takes those visits, what does he want to see in Piscataway and Chestnut Hill?
"I really would like to go to those schools and talk to the players and get their point of view about the school."
