Mom happy with Maroneys choice
St. Louis (Mo.) Normandy running back Laurence Maroney has reached a decision, but he's not ready to announce it.
"He isn't telling anyone where he's going," Maroney's mother said. "He's kept it quiet this long, I'm not going to ruin it for him now."

How about a hint from mom?
"I'll only tell you that I'm happy with his choice. He told me the reason he was picking them and it was a reason I really liked the school too.
"He has a press conference set for 10:15 Wednesday morning at the school. There he will tell everyone where he's going when he signs the letter of intent."
Maroney is considering his home state Missouri Tigers and the Big 10's Minnesota Gophers.
