Molden visits Oregon

One of the West Coast's top cornerbacks in the 2017 class generated plenty of interest last week when the contact period kicked off.

Four-star prospect Elijah Molden from West Linn, Ore., visited Oregon for its season-opening game Saturday and already has locked in a return trip for late November when the Ducks host USC, another school that has been reaching out.
Molden heard from the likes of Auburn, Florida State, LSU, Notre Dame and Washington, and intends to start looking into possible visits during the season.

WHAT'S NEXT?: The 5-foot-10, 170-pound Molden has plans to visit Stanford for the Notre Dame game in late November to see two schools that he holds in high regard. He might also sprinkle in some other trips in between now and then, but that might hinge on his own football season.
IN HIS WORDS: "The Oregon game was great as usual," Molden told Rivals.com. "Other visits are to be determined and I heard from a few schools, but I'm not entirely sure which could be next to offer. With the way Notre Dame and Florida State have been contacting me make me hope for an offer. It would make a difference and open up new doors."
RIVALS' REACTION: Molden, a Ducks legacy, definitely has Oregon up there in his recruitment but he intends to take his time before announcing a decision. The Trojans have suggested they could offer at some point and, with other national programs joining the chase, Molden could start to line up all his options and really begin to compare programs. Stanford is another to watch here given the academic appeal and a productive visit earlier this summer.
