Molden hears from new programs

Elijah Molden is enjoying the recruiting process and more programs have reached out recently to the 2017 cornerback from West Linn, Ore.
So far, Oregon and Washington have offered and Molden said three other teams are showing interest as his sophomore season winds down.

"It's been picking up a little bit," Molden said. 'I got interest from Miami last Monday. Nebraska, Arizona and a few others have reached out.
"They're just showing interest. It hasn't been too serious."
The 5-foot-10, 172-pound prospect recently took another unofficial visit to Oregon and that could be significant as his recruitment continues.
His father, Alex, played for the Ducks and Molden called them his early leader but he's not ready to make his pledge at this point. Still, it seems Oregon could be tough to beat.
"I took one to the Washington-Oregon game and I brought one of my linemen with me and it was awesome again," Molden said.
"It was a great environment. It was the anniversary of "The Pick" so my dad loved it and he saw the throwback jerseys so it was a great experience."
Oregon was the first to offer and then Washington came through with one in the last few weeks. Molden said he had not been talking to the Huskies' coaching staff but he's definitely interested and could visit in the spring.
"It was a surprise," Molden said. "I didn't hear from them up until they offered me which was unlike anything I experienced yet. A week later they sent me another letter to seal the deal.
"I'm just sitting back and seeing everything I get. I want to enjoy it as much as possible. It's a fun experience so far. Oregon is my quiet leader but I'd like to get as many offers as I can."
