Moffitt looks to visit after offer

David Moffitt recently landed an offer from Colorado and after talking with assistant coaches Brian Cabral and Mike Tuiasosopo the Concord (Calif.) De La Salle outside linebacker is interested in the Buffaloes.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect doesn't have any plans to visit Colorado yet but he said this spring and summer he'd like to get out and see what the program is all about.

"I like them," Moffitt said. "They're nice people and they seem to know a lot about football and they're great coaches and they want to improve the program. That seems pretty good.
"I don't really know much about them so I want to go down and talk to the coaches and see what the school is about and what the program is about because I want to learn more about them."
Other than his offer from Colorado, Moffitt said he's mainly hearing from Oregon State, Oregon and Washington among other Pac-12 schools. He's also supposed to get in touch with a school in the ACC soon, too.
"It's pretty much mainly the Pac-12 and I'm also planning to talk with Boston College," Moffitt said.
As for this off-season, the De La Salle standout is looking to schedule some camps but he doesn't have anything set up yet. Taking a visit to Colorado seems like a possibility and that could definitely happen before his senior season.
"I'm going to try to make some camps at these colleges," Moffitt said. "I don't have any scheduled visits but I'm going to try over spring break."
In his junior season, Moffitt finished with 56 tackles, three sacks and three interceptions on a team that won the California state bowl championship.
