Moffett has five in mind

MIAMI-Palm Bay, Fla., outside linebacker Neefy Moffett has been one of the toughest prospects in the South to get a read on. He has been shy about naming a leader throughout the entire recruiting process. Some times players like to play the recruiting game, but in Moffett's case he has so many schools to choose from and a short time to decide.
"Right now I'm down to Southern Cal, Miami, Oklahoma, Florida State and Georgia," Moffett said. "I would have to say that Southern Cal, Miami and Florida State are probably a little bit ahead of the others at this point, but anybody who knows me knows that I've been pretty much open all along so either of the other two teams could still sneak in there."

The 6-foot-1, 215-pound Moffett runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and the shuttle in 4.44 seconds, has a 350-pound bench press, a 485-pound squat and a 39-inch vertical jump.
"I have official visits set up to Florida State on January 7, Georgia on January 14 and Miami on January 21," Moffett said. "I've already been out to Southern Cal and Oklahoma so I will have something to compare my other visits with and that is cool. This whole week I have been talking to different guys that are committed to each of these schools and listening to what they have to say."
Moffett is ranked as the No. 11 outside linebacker in the country and the No. 16 player in the state of Florida by Rivals.com.
