Moeaki loves the big game atmosphere

Wheaton (Ill.) South four star ranked tight end prospect Anthony Moeaki (6-foot-4, 250 pounds) loves being around the college football as well as being a part of the big game atmosphere. Moeaki was one of several Illinois prospects who attended the Michigan/Notre Dame game last Saturday in South Bend, and Moeaki came away impressed with the Fighting Irish.
“The experience as well as the game day atmosphere at Notre Dame was awesome," Anthony Moeaki said. “It was a big game, and you can't beat that big game college atmosphere and the overall vibe in the crowd. Notre Dame won and it was an upset, which made it even crazier to be in the crowd to see. The entire day was fun, and I was able to sit with some of the other Illinois recruits like Dan Doering, David Moosman and a few of my teammates. We had a good time just talking and hanging out together."

"The overall atmosphere at Notre Dame is what I came away the most impressed with. The fans and the crowd were just awesome, and we also were able to take part in the pre-game and post-game events. I was also able to get into the locker room after the game and talk with the players and the coaches, and it was a lot of fun."
Moeaki, who is currently listing both BYU and Iowa as his early favorites, is still hoping to complete his Top 5 favorites list later this fall.
"I'm still looking at several schools at this point, and I'm eventually going to narrow things down to a Top 5 schools list. I'm going to be making an official visit this coming weekend to BYU, and I'll be heading to BYU on Saturday morning. Once I've set my Top 5 schools, I'll also set official visit to those schools as well."
Moeaki is hoping to squeeze in a few college games this fall.
"I'm going to try to see a game at Iowa as well as Tennessee. It's tough to get to the college games because we have practices on Saturday's, but if I can fit games in at those schools I'll try to make it."
