Moeaki is zoned into the playoffs

Wheaton (Ill.) South four-star ranked tight end prospect Anthony Moeaki (6-foot-4, 250 pounds) is a highly sought after prospect, and you would think that recruiting is on Moeaki's mind day in and day out, right? Wrong.
“I've really put the whole recruiting thing on the back burner for now," Moeaki said. “I just haven't been too worried about any of that because we are in the playoffs and I'm totally zoned into my team right now and the playoffs."

Moeaki is ready to face it's third consecutive DuPage Valley conference rival this week when the Tigers travel to Naperville Central.
"We lost to them back in Week 7 20-17, so getting them back is motivation for us, but even more motivation this week for us is that this is the same place (quarterfinal round) where we lost in the playoffs last year. Getting to this point in the playoffs was one of our goals this year, but we also set the bar higher and we've trained all year long to get past this point and for us to go all the way to state and win the Class 8A state title."
One thing is certain for Moeaki and his teammates, this will be a very long week.
"This week is already dragging, and I can't wait for Saturday. It's going to be a great game again against Central. I'll start really getting excited for the game on Thursday in school, and the only problem is that we play on Saturday instead of Friday. Waiting until Saturday makes it a very long week, but I know we'll be ready."
Moeaki's latest recruiting news has remained the same for now.
"I've taken two great official visits to both BYU and Tennessee, and I have a visit set to Iowa on December 10th. I'm going to set a few more visits after my season is over with, and I'm still looking to decide on where I'll set any more visits. I'm still looking hard at Notre Dame, Nebraska and Oregon."
