Modster waiting for more offers

Devon Modster is quickly adding some offers but the four-star quarterback remains patient in his recruitment especially because more programs are getting involved.
One team that continues to stay on top of the Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Tesoro quarterback is UCLA and even though the Bruins have been in the mix for a long time an offer has not come through yet.

Modster, who looked good at the King of the IE 7on7 tournament this past weekend, is hoping it comes soon and is excited about where things stand with the Bruins.
"With UCLA I've always been talking to them but they haven't offered me yet," Modster said.
"Coach (Taylor) Mazzone said he just hasn't gotten the chance to show coach (Jim) Mora my film so hopefully after that they'll offer me.
"That would be pretty great. That's a great school and I love the program. Coach Mazzone is one of the only coaches that I keep in contact with weekly so that would be good."
So far, Modster has been offered by Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Colorado State and Kansas. The Golden Bears are the latest to get involved and the four-star is attracted to that program especially because of off-the-field considerations.
"I'm definitely interested," Modster said. "That's one of the higher schools with majors and education-wise. Right now I'm just treating all of my colleges equally. I'm not favoring anyone right now."
In his junior season, Modster threw for 2,500 yards with 24 touchdowns and also rushed for 700 yards and 16 scores.
