Modster talks first offer

Devon Modster recently landed his first offer from Arizona but it didn't necessarily come as a complete surprise since he had been talking to the coaching staff for so long.
The 2016 three-star quarterback from Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Tesoro said he's excited about the Wildcats especially since their offense is so friendly to quarterbacks.

"They've been talking to me for a while but they wanted to see the first few games of my junior year and they told me they wanted to talk after the third week," Modster said.
"They told me to call them and they offered me.
"They do have a great offense. They kind of run the same stuff we run and I met the coaches and they seem like great coaches."
Arizona is the first school to offer Modster, who looked really good especially at the Huntington Beach 7on7 this summer and multiple times in his sophomore season, and there is some other Pac-12 interest as well.
The 2016 quarterback is hearing from Arizona State and UCLA has recently given him some positive news about coming to see him play this weekend.
The Tesoro quarterback was told by an assistant coach from UCLA that they expect to attend his game against Newport Beach (Calif.) Corona del Mar on Friday night. With Arizona State, the interest has been pretty preliminary.
As for an unofficial visit to Arizona, Modster said he plans to take a trip to get better acquainted with the campus after his junior season.
"I'm kind of busy will all my games and everything," Modster said.
