Defensive end Damario Ambrose could announce his decision Wednesday or could go public as early as Tuesday night. He is down to Purdue and Arkansas and has an in-home visit with Razorbacks head coach Houston Nutt this evening. If things go well during the in-home, there is speculation that the 6-foot-4, 240-pounder could pull the trigger on a verbal to the Hawgs on Arkansas statewide radio this evening.
Alabama, Oklahoma and Michigan all have stepped up their interest in recent weeks for the three-star rated prospect.
A fourth Davidson prospect, Rivals100 safety Michael McNeil could announce a decision as early as Tuesday. McNeil makes an official visit to Alabama this weekend and previously has been to Florida State, Auburn and Tennessee.
Linebacker Brandon Maye, who committed to Clemson during the weekend, will discuss picking the Tigers. The 6-foot-1, 210-pounder made an official visit to Clemson during this past weekend and was extended a scholarship offer by the Atlantic Coast Conference program.
Lineman Lionel Henderson also will announce his decision. Memphis and a number of other Conference USA programs are in the mix for his services.
