MLB will join teammate at same school

Codey Lowe, who is the middle linebacker from the same high school as Jamar Williams, will be joining his high school teammate at Duke. They will be playing the same positions as they do now at Langham Creek High School in Langham Creek, Texas. Jamar will be playing outside linebacker and Codey will be plugging the middle.

"Codey committed to Duke on December 5th," Codey Lowe's dad said. "It was mainly due to their new facilities, his playing possibilities as a freshman and the academic standards of the school."

"Codey has a great work ethic and education is the most important thing in this. Duke said that they would help him in the educational aspects of college."

He made his official visit to Duke on Nov. 30 and he will not be taking any more visits.

Codey was named his district's Most Valuable Player and Houston Area Defensive Player of the Year by a local newspaper in the Houston area.
