MLB On The Rise And For Good Reason

Searching for an sleeper in the 2002 recruiting class? Look no further and many of the top schools in the south are looking just as well.
Farmersville, Louisiana middle linebacker Dimitri Carr is right on target to gain full qualification to college. He has a 3.3 grade point average and a qualifying score on his ACT.

He also has nice size and speed. He is 6-foot-2 and 226 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in a sub 4.8 seconds on a regular occasion, but that could be different.
"I have really worked on that," he said. "I haven't timed in a while so I am not really sure if I have improved it. I think I have because I feel faster."
Who are the schools that are after your abilities?
"I don’t have any offers yet," he said. "Southern Miss, Tennessee and Arkansas are recruiting me the hardest."
"Those three are my favorites."
Does anyone of them have an advantage?
"Tennessee is my favorites right now," he said. "They are just one of the top schools in the nation. And the coaching staff is awesome. Their condition and strength program is like the top in the nation."
How did your season season go for you?
"Well, it was pretty good," he said. "I had 182 tackles and 2 sacks as a junior."
Let's all just wait and see how the senior season goes. If his junior season is any indication then watch out.
A full on sleeper might be ready to move up.
