Mizzou, USF looking at 2016 FL OG

Class of 2016 New Port Richey (Fla.) Mitchell offensive lineman Devontay Taylor is just getting started on the recruiting process, but he's already getting interest from a few major programs, including Missouri.
"Missouri sends me a ton of mail and I get stuff from them every week," the 6-foot-4, 245-pound prospect said. "I haven't had a chance to catch up with the coaches yet but hopefully I will soon."

Other schools showing interest include Georgia South, Florida Atlantic and nearby USF. Taylor made a visit to watch the Bulls host N.C. State in the fall and came away impressed.
"It was a good game," he said. "The student section was really into the game, too. It's not like a normal college game because they play in the Buccaneers stadium and it's huge, but the fans that were there really love the team."
Taylor said he's not sure how close the Bulls are to offering, but said he knows he's on the school's radar.
"They told me they like my film and they will be watching me closely," he said.
In the coming months Taylor said he plans on camping and visiting Georgia, Miami, Missouri and Louisville.
