One day last week Joe Mixon picked up three Pac-12 offers and the Oakley (Calif.) Freedom running back hopes another is on the way.
The 6-foot, 180-pound four-star recruit said UCLA has been showing a lot more interest and a coach is supposed to stop by his game this weekend.
Mixon is hoping after the Bruins' coaches see him in action that he can add another big offer to his list.

"They've been getting a little bit more involved with the recruitment and stuff," Mixon said. "I think UCLA might be pretty close to offering me. They're going to be at my game against James Logan this weekend so hopefully I can put on a show for them.
"That will be really big. That would be a big offer to pick up."
Mixon, who has rushed for 1,354 yards and 20 touchdowns on 182 carries so far this season, has already landed offers from Cal, Colorado, Oregon State and Washington.
He thinks once his junior season highlight tape is dispersed to coaches across the country his recruitment could take off even more.
"I'm just waiting for my highlight tape to drop," Mixon said. "Once that comes out I already know that's going to be crazy.
"It's really exciting for the process to be going so early. It's really early in the game and I just have to be patient. Once college football season is over the offers could start coming."
That does not mean Mixon is anywhere close to making his decision. The 2014 running back plans to remain patient, be open to all programs and make his choice much later in the process.
"I'm not going to commit early," Mixon said. "I'm just going to wait, take all my offers in and then see what's best for me."
