Missouri WR likes two

Getting better is the No. 1 goal this summer for University City, Mo., receiver/cornerback Sergio Kahn. The 6-foot-2, 181-pounder is ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 21 player in Missouri and he did impress at the Manhattan NIKE Training Camp.
"I've been in the weight room a lot and jumping rope," Kahn said. "I'm just trying to stay in shape. I have a workout list, and I've been following that pretty strictly."

Kahn hopes the work pays off with a reward on the field and from the college coaches. After claiming an early offer from Wisconsin shortly after the NIKE Camp, he's backed off the thought that he has an offer from the Badgers.
"I haven't really gotten any offers yet," Kahn said. "A few teams have talked about it, but nobody has come forward with one. Wisconsin told my coach they were thinking about an offer.
"I've been talking to Michigan State, Iowa, Kansas State, Northern Illinois and Nebraska. Kansas State and Michigan State are probably recruiting me the hardest right now. They both want me to play wide receiver."
So why are the teams excited about Kahn?
"I'm quick off the line," he said. "I can jump real well and if the quarterback gets it high enough I can jump higher than any d-back I know of so I can go get the ball."
