Position: Cornerback
Size and speed: Dokes is 5-foot-9 and 150 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds.
Statistics: As a junior, he recorded 46 tackles and six interceptions. On offense, he ran for 1,568 yards on 236 carries while crossing the goal line 12 times.
Honors: Dokes was named to the first-team Ozarks All-Conference team on both offense and defense. Dokes was also named to one All-State team, as a running back.
Dokes is also a top performer on the track. This season, he has recorded a 10.82 seconds time in the 100-meter dash while also competing in the 400-meter relay and the triple jump.
"I want to keep working on my speed," Dokes said. "I think I can knock my sprint times down."
Schools: "I am being recruited by Missouri, Kansas State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon and Arkansas," Dokes said. "There are others, but those are the main ones."
Skinny: "I'm hearing from some good schools already," Dokes said. "If I can continue to work on my game and improve, more things will work out good for me."
Dokes is looking forward to his senior season, after putting up the numbers he did as a junior.
"On defense, if some of the other teams would throw to my side, my numbers would be a little better," Dokes said.
"I ran for 1,568 yards, but I think I can do better than that this year. I'd also like to help get the team a little further in the playoffs."
Last season, Dokes helped lead his team to a 9-3 record. A loss to Jefferson City ended their title hopes in the state quarterfinal round.
