Missouri QB lines up two official visits

St. Louis (Mo.) Lafayette quarterback Taylor Bennett has picked up a few scholarship offers recently.
“I’ve had quite a few calls,” the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Bennett said. “Arkansas just called tonight. Georgia Tech called the other day.”

The other schools that have called include Boise State, Northern Illinois and Ball State.
“Georgia Tech offered me a scholarship when they called and Boise State had offered a couple weeks ago. Those two are my favorite schools. They’ve offered and shown they believe in me. I like the coaches at Boise State. They are real honest with everything they have to say. Georgia Tech is a pretty big time program and that is nice to have them wanting me.”
The two-star rated Bennett has lined up a couple of official visits too.
“I’m going to visit Georgia Tech the weekend of Nov. 1,” he said. “And I am tentatively set to go to Boise State the weekend of October 25. That one isn’t confirmed with them, but I’m pretty sure that is the date I’m headed there.”
On the season, Bennett has thrown for 542 yards and five touchdowns. He has also rushed for three scores.
Bennett’s teammate J.R. Kraemer has made his college choice.
“I talked to J.R. about it a few days ago,” Bennett said. “He told me then, he was getting ready to call the coaches at Illinois that day and commit to them. I haven’t talked to him since that day about recruiting. I’m assuming he’s gotten that done. But, he’s going to Illinois.”
