Missouri offers Carolina DB

Offers are starting to mount for Gastonia (N.C.) Ashbrook safety Willie Kennedy. The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder landed a second offer from the Big 12 not too long ago and is gaining even more interest.
"His big three offers are probably Missouri, Colorado and Marshall," Joseph Johnson said, he handles Kennedy's recruitment. "Miami (Ohio) and North Carolina are interested and like him. We went to Wake Forest and NC State to see where they are with him. Georgia Tech is also in contact."

When did Kennedy add the Missouri offer?
"He got that a few weeks ago," he said. "I mentioned them when they were looking at Jheranie and they got the tape and offered immediately."
Johnson believes a number of schools will offer soon.
"Rutgers is interested, I think once people see him this year, Georgia Tech, NC State, North Carolina and ECU will end up offering."
Does Kennedy like anyone?
"He likes North Carolina, he's a big fan of Carolina," he said. "He also like Colorado and will take an official out there. I know he's interested in Missouri, but right now if everything happened today I think he'd be at Colorado."
