Missouri LB makes choice
St. Louis (Mo.) Cleveland NJROTC linebacker Shaun Richardson took three official visits, but it was the first one that stuck with him.
"I visited Purdue first," the 6-foot3, 227-pound linebacker said. "I felt really good about it after I visited. It seemed like it was the place I should be spending my college years at."

So why didn't Richardson pull the trigger when he was in West Lafayette in November?
"I had to see something else with it. I wanted to compare Purdue with other schools and prove to me it was the best place out there. I called the coaches at Purdue and told them I wanted to play for them. I'm excited about it."
Richardson also visited Indiana (Dec. 6) and Missouri (Dec. 13).
