Missouri DT continuing the tradition

Webb City, Missouri has a history of putting impact players into the Big 12. Grant and Tracey Wistrom both starred at Nebraska and Andrew Shull, a defensive end at Kansas State hail from the town. The next one on the list may be Adam Spieker
Spieker, a 6-foot-3, 275-pound defensive tackle is being recruited by several schools.

“I went to camps at Missouri, Nebraska, and Arkansas,” Spieker said. “Those are my top three schools right now.”
Spieker has gotten calls from Kansas State and Kansas while Illinois, Oklahoma State, and Vanderbilt have also shown interest.
How were the camps?
“I liked Missouri’s coaches a lot,” Spieker said. “I got a lot of attention there. I also had a good time at Nebraska’s camp.”
“Coach Christiansen is recruiting me for Missouri. They’re the only school to offer me so far.”
Spieker has visited Missouri, went to junior day at Kansas and attended the red and white game at Nebraska.
Last season Spieker was named an all-state and all-conference as a defensive lineman after recording 90 tackles. He also won a fifth-place medal in the shot put at the Missouri state track meet.
“I’d like to go to college not too far from home and I plan to major in business.”
