Missouri ATH ready to make choice

St. Louis (Mo.) Hazelwood Central athlete Nick Patterson has trimmed his list to three schools and has now visited all three after a weekend trip to UCLA.

"I had a great time on my visit," the 6-foot-2, 200-pound Patterson said. "They showed me around the school and the campus. It was really nice out there. When they took me in the locker room, they showed me around the facilities, I was impressed. They also had a jersey hanging in the lockers with my name on it. I learned a lot about UCLA."

Patterson is also considering Ohio State and Missouri as he nears a decision.

"I am going to make my decision at our team banquet Tuesday evening," he said. "I really like all three schools. I'm going to think things through very hard these next couple days."

Patterson caught 45 passes as a senior for 876 yards and 11 touchdowns.
