Mississippis top OL likes four

Three-star Southaven (Miss.) offensive lineman Josh Winchell gives a pretty amusing answer when the question of a timetable for his college decision is raised.
“I don’t have any clue,” he said. “Heck, the way it’s going, I might be the last player in the country to make up my mind.”

Like many players, Winchell (6-5, 310, 5.0) has seen the tides change a few times during the course of his recruitment. Schools have shifted places in his top five, and leaders have come and gone.
So where do things stand now for the Magnolia State’s top-rated O-Lineman?
“Right now, I’ve got visits set up with my four favorites,” he said. “They’re all pretty even right now.
“I’ll be going to South Carolina this weekend (1/9). I’ll be going to Arkansas on the 16th and 17th, Memphis on the 23rd and 24th and Ole Miss will be in the middle of the week. I haven’t decided if it will be a couple of days before Memphis or a couple of days after. I’m leaving the last weekend open in case I take a fifth visit.”
Any candidates for that spot?
“I’m not sure right now, but maybe Tennessee or LSU,” he said. “Both of them were calling before Christmas. If they get back in touch with me, I might set something up.”
Last month, it appeared Arkansas was slipping off his list after a bad experience on an unofficial visit. But Winchell says the Hogs have come back strong.
"They started calling again and got everything cleared up," he said. "I still like them."
