Jason Husband is contemplating
adding another official visit to the calendar.
"I'm getting close to setting one up with Minnesota,"
said Husband, a member of the Rivals.com
Mississippi Top 30 team and the
No. 44 wide receiver in the nation "They've been recruiting me pretty hard
lately, but we haven't got anything final on that because I'm not sure if
they've offered yet. I think they are, but I want to find out for sure before I
go up there."
Husband (6-4, 200, 4.65) will visit Mississippi State on
Jan. 17 and Southern Miss on Jan. 24. He said he still considers those schools
his co-leaders. Ole Miss, Marshall, Alcorn State and Jackson State are also in
the mix.
As a senior, he caught 40 passes for 650 yards and nine
touchdowns in leading Jim Hill to a 9-2 record. He also intercepted three passes
as a defensive back.
