Louisville and Mississippi State lead for WR C.J. Bolar

HARVEY, La.C.J. Bolar is a wide receiver with good size, strong hands and the ability to make plays when the ball is thrown his way. A dozen schools like his skills enough to have offered him a scholarship and the schools that were 11th and 12th to pull the trigger now sit on top of his list.

The star out of Purvis (Miss.) recently added offers from Louisville and Mississippi State and those are his top two schools.

IN HIS OWN WORDS: "Mississippi State and Louisville both stand out to me right now," said Bolar. "Those would be my top schools right now.

"Mississippi State is all about family and that is big for me. If I am locked in, like I will be when I get to college, I want everyone else to be locked in too. I like their coaches, they create a good atmosphere there and it is a school I like.

"Louisville has had a lot of success and their coaches know how to win there. I like their offense, I like how they get the ball to their playmakers and it is a school I want to check out.

"I will probably be committing around the beginning of the summer. Both relationships and playing time will be big for me in my decision."

RIVALS REACTION: Who will offer Bolar next? He is one of the top prospects in the state of Mississippi and he will add offers, but right now, Louisville and Mississippi State lead. If one school has the edge, it is the in-state Bulldogs. Bolar likes Billy Gonzales, the Mississippi State wide receivers coach and he has visited Starkville (Miss.) three times. He has not visited the Cardinals yet. A decision is likely within the next three months.
