The Latest: 2018 Texas wide receiver Drue Jackson has been busy this summer, making visits to some of college football's top programs. While on a recent tour he made a stop in Starkville to check out Mississippi State and see what the Bulldogs had to offer. While the school hasn't added to his offer list, which already includes the likes of Texas Tech, Utah and several others, it's clear the trip caught his attention.

In His Words: "I visited a few weeks ago. I don't have an offer yet. I camped there and it went very well. I talked to the coaches after the camp and we had a good talk. I was talking to the wide receivers coach and the recruiting coordinator and they said keep in contact. Coach Gonzalez is really nice. We have a good relationship and we've been talking ever since I went up there for a visit my freshman year. He's just a real cool dude."

Rivals Reaction: Jackson has had a busy summer but his return to Starkville to camp shows his interest in the school is genuine. Mississippi State has done a nice job of recruiting Texas in recent years and a prospect like Jackson, who has talent and is also well-connected among other prospects, could be a prime candidate for an offer down the line.
