Mississippi RB taking his time

One of the nation’s top running backs says he hasn’t developed a top-five list entering his senior season.
“I’m probably more open right now than ever,” said Horn Lake (Miss.) tailback Brandon Jackson. “I don’t there’s any one school that I’m sure about. The four that are recruiting me the most are Michigan State, West Virginia, Michigan and Ole Miss. That would probably be my top four. But there are a lot of schools I’d still be interested in.”

“Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama and Arkansas,” he said. “If I have a big year, I think I’ll hear some more from those schools. They always have great running backs. I’m basically open to any of the big-time schools.”
Jackson (6-0, 220, 4.43) is rated the No. 16 running back in the nation by Rivals.com coming off a junior season which saw him rush for 1,770 yards and 28 touchdowns. He has offers from Michigan State, West Virginia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Oklahoma State.
He opens his senior season on Friday against Memphis Carver.
