Ducksworth is a player who knows what he wants.
And right now, nothing would sound sweeter than a
scholarship offer from his favorite school.
"I've always been a Bulldog," he said of Mississippi
State. "They've been my team ever since I was little, and if they offered, I'd
probably go there for sure.
"I love the team, the coaching staff and everything
about the school. I feel like it's the place for me."
The powerfully-built Mize (5-11, 202, 4.6) is also being
recruited by Southern Miss and Ole Miss. He said the Eagles have been recruiting
him for the longest, and their proximity to his home is a potential factor. The
Rebels have not shown as much interest as the other two in-state schools, but
would be considered if they offered, Mize said.
As a junior, Mize rushed for more than 1,000 yards and
15 touchdowns despite a nagging knee injury.
"I got it scoped this spring, got some cartilage cleaned
up," he said. "It feels good now -- like new. I'm ready to go full-speed again."
He plans to camp at Mississippi State and Southern Miss
this summer.
