Mississippi RB close to decision

Three-star Horn Lake (Miss.) running back Brandon Jackson sounds like a player closing in on a college decision.
“It’s pretty much all Michigan State right now,” he said. “They’re the only one who really stays in touch with me and shows me that they want me the most. I’ve thought about committing, but I’m going to wait a little bit more and see how it goes.”

Is anyone else in contention?
“Not really, said Jackson, who also sports offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State and West Virginia.
Jackson was scheduled to visit Michigan State this coming weekend, but had to postpone that date because his Horn Lake squad has reeled off five straight wins to reach the second round of the playoffs.
“I had to reschedule it for the second weekend in Decemeber (12/12),” he said. “I may decide after I go up there. I want to make sure.”
Jackson (6-0, 220, 4.43), who is rated the No. 16 running back in the nation by Rivals.com, rushed for 1,770 yards and 28 touchdowns as a junior. He didn’t have his updated senior totals, but noted he rushed for 238 yards and two scores in Friday night’s victory.
Academically, he maintains a 3.0 GPA and will take the ACT again in early December.
