Jeremy Young has removed one of
the top teams from his final list.
"I'm not going to visit Georgia Tech now," said Young, a
member of the Rivals.com
Mississippi Top 30 team and the
No. 33 pro-style quarterback in the nation. "They told me when they offered that
they'd have to pull back my scholarship if they got a commitment from another
quarterback first. I think they got one from a guy down in Florida (Patrick
Carter) recently, so that means I won't be looking at them anymore. They were up
front and everything about it, so I wasn't too upset. They were only an outside
shot for me anyway."
Young had a "great" visit to Southern Miss on Dec. 13.
His next two trips are to Ole Miss (1/10) and Mississippi State (1/17). He also
recently added Jackson State for Jan. 24.
"It will be one of those four," he said. "I don't think
I'll be visiting anywhere else."
Is there a favorite?
"I have to wait until I get back from Ole Miss and MSU,"
he said.
Young (6-4, 180, 4.6) passed for more than 1,200 yards
and 18 touchdowns and rushed for 460 yards and seven scores as a senior in
leading Provine to an 8-3 record.
