Cliff Davis.
"I've got one coming up on Jan. 10 at Mississippi State.
After that, it's looking like Tennessee, Ole Miss, LSU and maybe Memphis. I
don't have those dates squared away yet, but it's looking like those five teams.
"Ole Miss and State are my favorites right now, but
Tennessee is coming on strong. They're real interested now. I still like LSU
quite a bit, too, and Memphis impresses me with the kind of offense they run.
I'd love to run that four-wide, shotgun formation all day long."
Davis (6-5, 205, 4.7) said he expects in-home visits
from LSU's Charlie Harbison and David Cutcliffe of Ole Miss in January. He's
also receiving heavy attention from Major League Baseball scouts as a top
pitching prospect for the June amateur draft.
A member of the Rivals.com
Mississippi Top 30 team and one
of the Top 50 pro-style quarterbacks in the nation, Davis passed for 2,016 yards
and 31 touchdowns this season in leading his team to a 13-2 record and the state
championship game.
