Junior to Watch: Omarr Conner
School: Macon (Miss.) Noxubee County
Position: Dual-threat quarterback
Size and Speed: Conner his 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds. He has been timed in the 40-yard dash at 4.5 seconds. Connor also bench-presses 225 pounds and squats 350 pounds along with a vertical jump of 31 inches. He has a grade-point-average of 2.5.
Statistics: Connor had an incredible year with more than 1,000 yards passing and 19 touchdowns and also more than 1,000 yards rushing with 16 touchdowns.
Honors: Connor was a first team all-district selection has a junior.
Favorite schools: Connor list includes LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, West Virginia and Auburn. His early leader would be LSU and Ole Miss. Ole Miss, Mississippi State and LSU have offered him scholarships.
Skinny: Macon (Miss.) Noxubee County may have one of the more dangerous quarterbacks in the country with Omarr Conner.
Connor has all the tools that college coaches are drooling over.
"I'm fortunate that I am able to do it all," Connor said. "At Macon we run, the run and shoot which basically describes my play as a quarterback."
Connor brings everything to the table that he can bring.
"I work hard so that my teammates see how hard I'm working and maybe that will help them when times get tough for us," Connor said. "A leader works hard, so that's why I want to work harder than everybody else so I can lead my team to victory."
Whoever gets this athletic quarterback will get a player who is dedicated and will make sacrifices?
"My work ethic will help me if I go out of state because there will not be anybody their to take care of you," Connor said. "I like Ole Miss a lot but LSU and the others are not to far behind.
This summer Connor will be camping at Auburn, Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
