Mississippi OL getting early attention

Batesville (Miss.) South Panola offensive lineman Jermarcus Hardrick could emerge as one of the more highly-recruited prospects at his position in the Magnolia State for the Class of 2008.
The 6-foot-6, 325-pounder is getting interest from a number of programs.
"Auburn, Mississippi State, Miami (Fla.), LSU, Florida and Ole Miss are showing interest," Hardrick said. "Auburn, Ole Miss and Mississippi State are sending me text messages. Auburn is burning me up with letters and they would be on top right now, but Mississippi State is acting more and more like they are going to offer me."
There is a specific aspect of a program Hardrick will play close attention to before making his decision.
"The first thing has to be the atmosphere," he said. "I also want to be able to relate to the coach and also the coaching style."
Hardrick cited several aspects of his game that could have recruiters interested.
"It's probably my base, my long arms and my big frame," he said.
Hardrick was an All-Region selection as a junior and played for a state championship team at South Panola.
