Mississippi DT has a top three

Sardis (Miss.) North Panola defensive tackle Templeton Hardy could be one of the better defensive tackle prospects in the Magnolia State in the Class of 2008. The 6-foot-4, 295-pounder already has scholarship offers from a number of programs and has three schools currently in the lead in the race for his services.
"I have offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tulane, Oklahoma, Auburn, Alabama and San Diego State," Hardy said.

Hardy added that the Rebels, Bulldogs and Crimson Tide currently are his top three with no leader among the trio.
"Everybody is even," he said.
Tony Hughes is recruiting Hardy for Ole Miss. Hardy has been to Oxford for an unofficial visit.
"I like all the facilities at Ole Miss," Hardy said. "They do it right there and I like how their football team is."
New Bulldogs assistant coach David Turner is recruiting Hardy for Mississippi State, where Hardy also has taken an unofficial visit.
"Their coaches seem real energetic," he said. "They made me feel right at home there."
Bo Davis is Hardy's recruiter of record for the Crimson Tide. He has yet to head to Tuscaloosa for a visit.
"I'm planning on heading down there soon," Hardy said. "The (Alabama) coaches are real enthusiastic."
Hardy isn't planning on making an early decision.
"I am going to decide late," he said.
Hardy was a first-team All-District selection during his junior season where he had 28 tackles for loss.
