Mississippi DB Jaylon Reed names top 10

Jaylon Reed has seen his recruitment pick up over the last few weeks. The 6-foot-1, 165 pound cornerback out of Olive Branch (Miss.) has added offers from Georgia, Marshall, Oregon, South Carolina and Tennessee among others over the last six weeks or so.

On Wednesday, he announced his top 10 schools in no order.

"Oregon, Tennessee, South Carolina, Memphis, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Marshall, Mississippi State, Georgia, Purdue and Louisiana Tech are my top schools," said Reed.

Out of his top 10 school, he has already visited Georgia, Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Reed plans to be in Knoxville (Tenn.) April 22 for the Vols spring game. He is also in the process of scheduling visits to Oregon and Purdue over the summer.

He is not sure when he will commit, but he is in no rush to make his decision.

"I am not certain yet when I want to commit, but I would like to have it done by the third game of the season," said Reed.
