Position: Running back
Size and Speed: Killingsworth is 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds. He has been clocked at the 40-yard dash at 4.4 seconds. He bench-presses 225 pounds and squats 510 pounds along with a vertical jump of 30 inches. Killingsworth also carries a 2.8 grade-point-average.
Statistics: Killingsworth had 290 carries for more than 2,500 yards with 27 touchdowns. He also had 15 receptions for more than 300 yards with two touchdowns.
Honors:/ Killingsworth was all-district and all-region pick as a junior.
Favorite schools: LSU, Florida, Mississippi State, Southern Miss and Ole Miss top Killingsworth early list of schools. He does not have any offers at this time, but expects to something soon with the May evaluation period.
Skinny: There may not be a more balanced running back in the state of Mississippi than Sam Killingsworth. With more than 2,500 yards last season he finds the holes rather easily and gets into the end zone quite a bit.
"I would say that I take what the defense gives me," Killingsworth said. "I like to punish the defense, but I can run around them with my speed if I have to, so overall I would say that I‘m a balanced back."
Killingsworth might have an early leader.
"Right now I have no offers at this point but I think, LSU is pretty close to offering me," Killingsworth said. "I kind of like them right now, but I like the other schools as well."
What are significant factors when its time to decide on a school?
"I really want to look at the graduation rate, because if I get hurt I’m going to need that degree," Killingsworth said. "Ultimately it’s going to be my decision on what ever school I decide on, Killingsworth said. "I would like to get into sports medicine after football’s over with."
The camps that Killingsworth will be attending this summer will be LSU, Mississippi State, and Memphis.
