Mississippi ATH Jimmy Holiday ready to see TCU

TCU offered Jimmy Holiday in May, and the Horned Frogs have been in pursuit since. Gary Patterson and his staff will have their chance to make the move for one of the best in Mississippi this weekend.

Holiday will head to Texas for his official visit.

"The history they carry offensively wise they are known for using dual-threat quarterbacks and athletes is what has me interested in them," said Holiday. "They have been in contact with me a lot since they offered which made me more interested in them.

"I wanna see how the coaching staff is as a whole and does the education side of things fit me as far as what I wanna major (Sports Medicine) in on my official visit."

Holiday's recruitment took off mid spring, and he now has well over a dozen offers. He has already taken an official visit to Kansas.

Auburn, Memphis, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Ole Miss and Tennessee were other schools listed by Holliday as far as contenders at this time.

"I can say that I’m a point to where I’m kinda narrowing down where I want to visit and on verge of making decision soon," said Holiday.

He plans to take unofficial visits to Ole Miss and Tennessee next weekend before the dead period kicks in June 24.
