Minter ready for unofficial trips
Instead of taking early official visits, Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson cornerback DeMario Minter is planning on taking several key unofficial visits.
"I'm going to visit Auburn on Oct. 5 and then I'm going to Clemson on Nov. 2," he said about unofficial visits that he'll take.

"I'm also going to take an unofficial visit to Georgia Tech sometime between here and now."
Minter one of the better cornerbacks in the Southeast said he doesn't have a leader and is now looking at Georgia, North Carolina, Auburn, Ohio State, Clemson and Georgia Tech.
He has offers from all of those teams.
"I was impressed by the North Carolina win last week," Minter said. "But I'm not going to let that influence my decision. It put something in my mind, but I'm pretty open right now - and I want to see and take visits to a lot of these teams."
