Minshew taking in the recruiting process

Brandon (Miss.) three-star 2015 quarterback Gardner Minshew already holds offers from UAB and Akron, and keeps in touch with both programs.
In addition to the offers he is hearing from Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt, and during the fall he was able to take unofficial visits to Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Alabama, Auburn, and Vanderbilt.

Each of his visits left an impression, and gave him an opportunity to get a closer look at what he might be looking at on the college level.
The standout signal caller, enjoyed each of his college visits equally, but as he looks at his options he admits a couple of college offenses have caught his attention.
"I think I fit very in UAB's and Vanderbilt's offense and what they're looking for in their quarterback," Minshew said. "They're looking for smart, savvy players, and their academics are very good too."
Right now, he is keeping an open mind to the recruiting process, and is sitting back and waiting as everything begins to unfold.
He does plan to attend some junior day events at college programs, and also has plans a few other plans when it comes to his college recruitment.
"Well, I'll be an early enrollee wherever I go," Minshew said. "Initially I was thinking before my senior year, like right before the season, but right now things are very unclear so I'm just sitting and waiting."
Minshew has already taken the proper steps to make enrolling early an option regardless of the school he chooses.
As a junior Minshew completed 186 of his 315 passes for 2,690 yards and 24 touchdowns in 13 games.
