Minnesota visit changes things for WR
Galena Park, Texas, two-star receiver Johnny Sampy was very high on Iowa State after taking an official visit to Ames last weekend. But after visiting Minnesota this weekend, things might have changed.
“I have a little more interest in Minnesota than I do Iowa State,” Sampy, who is 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, said. “I think it was mainly because of the city setting. I like the city better than I did at Iowa State. I also got along really good with the players, and I really enjoyed myself.”
Sampy is now scheduled to visit Missouri next weekend, TCU on January 16 and then Tulsa on January 23. He has offers from all four of the teams on his list.
