Minnesota on Christians mind

Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain cornerback Jeff Christian will complete his senior season before taking official visits, but he has one school he is sure he will see.
"I am taking one official to Minnesota," Christian said. "That will be one for sure, then I am still working on the other ones with my parents and coaches."

Christian picked up an offer from Minnesota coach (Jim) Zebrowksi during the off-season, and has continued to stay in touch with the Golden Gopher's staffer this fall.
"I have been talking to him lately and he just told me whenever is fine to come down," Christian said. "I like Minnesota. They got better this year and they look like a better team. I feel like I can go up there and play."
Recent conversations with Purdue assistant coach Taver Johnson also have Christian thinking about the Boilermakers.
"I probably will take an official visit to Purdue. They offered me," Christian said. "I talk to Purdue often. They send me letters, see how my games are and DM me on Twitter."
Among the schools that have yet to offer, Christian is hoping to have a chance with an in-state program.
"I have been talking to coach (Kerry) Coombs from Ohio State a lot," Christian said. "Coach Coombs has been showing me a lot of interest and he told me I am on their radar. They are trying to see where their other DBs commit."
The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Christian is playing for a Colerain team that has won six straight games after starting out 0-3. He has 45 total tackles on the season to go along with four interceptions, including two he returned for touchdowns.
