Minnesota four star prospect talks recruiting

St Paul, Minn. Cretin-Derham four star ranked offensive line prospect Rafael Eubanks (6-foot-3, 290 pounds) is off to a great start this season, as nationally ranked Cretin-Derham is currently 3-0.
“So far we are 3-0 and things have been going great," Rafael Eubanks said. "The rankings and such aren't that big of a deal to me personally, but they do get a lot of attention towards our school as well as for our coaches. The recognition is a good thing for them because they put in a lot of work and deserve some notice."

Eubanks talks about his recruiting process so far this season.
"At times things have been kind of crazy because of all of the phone calls, but it's been much more manageable lately. Schools have seemed to settle into a specific day and time that they call me, and that's been a help. I was also pretty well prepared on how to handle things by my coaches as well as getting some advice from some former players from our school that went through the recruiting process. Other than that, things couldn't be any better right now, and I'm really enjoying me senior year so far."
Eubanks still hasn't wavered on his early favorites.
"I still have 8 schools that I'm considering at this point, and I also haven't eliminated anyone. My favorites remain Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Stanford, Maryland, Miami (Fla.) and Tennessee."
Eubanks has scheduled his first official visit to the University of Iowa for December 3rd, and talked about the official visit process.
"Iowa really wanted me to make my official visit on that date, so I decided to set that visit up with the Iowa coaches. I'm also thinking of getting one or two official visits in during the season if it's at all possible. From just a timing standpoint, they would need to be closer to home like Minnesota, Northwestern or Wisconsin. I'm still trying to see if I can get that worked out between my team responsibilities as well as how that would work for each school."
Eubanks is hoping to get in a few college games, one as early as this coming weekend.
"I was hoping to check out the Penn State/Wisconsin game in Madison this weekend, but my Dad might not be able to make the trip, so instead I might try to make the Northwestern/Minnesota game instead. I'm also planning to go to the Ohio State/Iowa game in Iowa City later this fall."
