Minnesota commit may visit Michigan State

Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain running back Terrence Sherrer committed to Minnesota on Sept. 19. Sherrer remains committed to the Gophers, though he has not ruled out an official visit to Michigan State.
"The only school I know is still recruiting me is Michigan State," Sherrer said. "They still call. I'll probably make an official visit there."
However Sherrer leaves no doubt he is still committed to Minnesota, at least at this point.
"I went to the Minnesota-Florida Atlantic game," Sherrer said. "I loved the atmosphere. Everybody was close together as a team. I liked the education. I liked everything about it."
The 5-foot-11 and 197-pound Sherrer gained 935 yards and averaged over 10 yards per carry during his junior season. He scored 15 times as Colerain went 15-0 and won the big school state championship.
This year Colerain has won five of six games. Sherrer has close to 400 yards rushing and four touchdowns. He is the No. 54 running back prospect in the player rankings.
