Minnesota CB favors six

Minnesota is home to a lot of solid high school prospects in the Class of 2005, and few are better than cornerback Marcellus Green. Does the Minneapolis (Mn.) Breck defensive back have any leaders?

"Marcellus' leaders, of the schools that are showing interest, at this point are Minnesota, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Iowa, Illinois and Boston College," said Frederick Green, the cornerback's father. "We've been to Junior Day's at Minnesota and Notre Dame this spring and we'll attend a couple of spring games as well, probably at Northwestern and either Minnesota or Iowa.
"Additionally we're busy planning his summer camp schedule. He should be going to Minnesota, Iowa, Boston College, Notre Dame and Northwestern. More than 50 schools have film on Marcellus and all the feedback we've gotten has been positive. Once we hear from more schools, his list of favorites could change. He doesn't have a closed mind about any of this."
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound cornerback runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and is one of the best athletes in the region. He doesn't have any offers as of yet.
