Minn TE makes his college choice

Foley, Minn. two star ranked tight end Noah Dombrovski (6-foot-4, 208 pounds) has ended his recruiting process and has given his verbal commitment to the University of North Dakota.
"I made a verbal commitment to North Dakota," Dombrovski said. "In the end it came down to either North Dakota or North Dakota State, and after my official visit to North Dakota on December 17th I was pretty much sold."

"My official visit to North Dakota was the major selling point for me in giving them my verbal. I just came away really impressed with the campus, the facilities as well as being impressed with the coaches and the players there. I just felt like I fit in the best at North Dakota."
"I had an early offer from Indiana, but then they had a coaching change so I decided to concentrate on schools that were closer to home. Both UND and NDSU were very interested and both schools offered me."
Dombrovski, who suffered through numerous injuries during his senior season, is recovering from surgery during his holiday break.
"I had hernia surgery a few weeks ago. I basically played with a hernia all season and I also played with a bad ankle for most of the year. I just wasn't able to put together a really solid senior tape because of the various injuries, yet both UND and NDSU were still very interested in me. I'm recovering from the surgery and things went really well. I'll be back on the basketball court in a few weeks at the latest."
Dombrovski is very happy to be the latest member of the Fighting Sioux.
"Things just really worked out well for me in the end. I'm excited about playing for the University of North Dakota, and I'm also glad to have my recruiting process over with."
