Milus excited by latest offer

Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton cornerback Ryan Milus has established himself as one of the premier prospects at his position in the West region. The athlete picked up two more offers over the weekend including his first from one of the big in-state schools.
Milus, 5-10, 155 pounds was rated as one of the top three defensive backs at the recent NorCal NIKE camp. He has blazing speed, great feet and an excellent feel for the position.

On the recruiting front, Washington State, Colorado State, Utah, Boise State and Air Force were the first to offer and two more schools threw their hat in to the ring.
"I just got offered by Arizona and Fresno State," Milus said. "It was exciting to get the offers, especially Arizona since I was hoping to hear more from the in-state schools.
"I attended a passing competition at Arizona and that's when they offered. I was looking forward to that event because I knew it was a chance to work out in front of those coaches and show them what I can do and getting the offer was very rewarding for me."
Milus was the state 100m champion as a sophomore with a 10.56 clocking and could easily double sport in college. He was a 1st team all-region selection a year ago after totaling 53 tackles and five interceptions and is among the top corner backs in the region this year.
