Miller sets first official visit

Yet another wide out we expect to have a big senior season is Corona (Calif.) Centennial’s Dashan Miller. Miller has three early offers and has set up his first official visit.
Miller, 6-0, 185 pounds, played second fiddle to standout running back Terrell Jackson (Oregon) a year ago but will be the go to guy this season. The receiver has good speed, runs very well after the catch and catches everything. As a junior, Miller caught 47 balls for 702 yards and five touchdowns to earn all-league and ALL-CIF honors.

“I missed some calls today because I was out but I did talk to Wyoming and just missed USC,” Miller said. “Right now, I have offers from Arizona State, Wyoming and UTEP and I have a trip date set with ASU for (Oct. 22) when they play UCLA. ASU is my leader right now but I also like Oregon and North Carolina and I’m hearing a lot from both them.
“I’m in no hurry to make my decision and definitely want to take some visits first. I think once our season gets going and some of the schools see what I can do, more offers will come in. Our first game is against Long Beach Poly and we can’t wait. They’re a big time program and I’ve been working my butt off all summer for this game. They have Desean Jackson at receiver and everyone know how good he is. My goal is to let people know there’s another great receiver in Southern CA as well.”
